Vandalism at houses of worship worries religious leaders in Shreveport

Walls slathered in spray paint, doors pulled off the hinges, appliances stolen and air-conditioners ripped apart. These are the marks of vandals, whose attacks on religious institutions in the Shreveport area have worried religious leaders, reports Shreveport's The News Star.

One leader, Pastor Stacy Holden, told the newspaper that the damage was a "satanic attack."

"We began to realize that this goes deeper than just a criminal offense. This is a satanic attack on our church," Holden told The News Star. "I feel like we fought the devil, and the devil doesn't want another church in Shreveport. But by the help and grace of God, we're going to do it."
